What is “Queer Factor”?

The Queer Factor of a title is how much of its content is relevant to the LGBTQ+ community.

LGBTQ+ encompasses a vast range of topics, issues, and views. For instance, if a title only has a small gay subplot, it could score between a 1 and 3 on the scale. If over 80% of a title’s plot is LGBTQ+ related, it would score as a 6. The Scoring is displayed by the Rainbow Queer Factor bar; the colors represent ratings of 1-6; with red being 1 and purple representing 6. This is representative of the rainbow pride flag; how many of the colors are vivid represents the scale rating. Please keep in mind, this is not to be used as a rating system for if the title was good/bad; please leave reviews at the bottom of a title’s page.
